Donations

The West Valley Ham Shack operates entirely through the generosity of our supporters. As a volunteer-run, nonprofit amateur radio club, donations are our primary source of funding and help us cover essential expenses such as utilities, equipment maintenance, and the upkeep of our facility.

One of the unique ways we support the club is by accepting donations of amateur radio equipment and electronics. Many items that are no longer needed by their owners can often be repaired, restored, or repurposed by our members. These items may be used in the shack, shared with new operators, or sold to help fund club operations.

We gladly accept donations including:

  • Amateur radios and accessories

  • Electronic components and parts

  • Vacuum tubes

  • Test equipment

  • Antennas and related gear

  • Other electronics that can be repaired or repurposed

Of course, monetary donations are also greatly appreciated and help us maintain the shack for the entire amateur radio community. Financial donations may be made by cash, check (payable to West Valley Electronics Club Inc.), or through planned giving such as a will, retirement account, or other similar arrangement.

The West Valley Electronics Club Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

For many years, the West Valley Ham Shack has served as a place where amateur radio operators can learn, operate, repair equipment, and build community. With your support, we can continue to provide this resource for many years to come.
