The Work Shop

Our members have the ability to design, modify, test and repair radios and other electronic equipment on our fully equipped test bench.

We have many test instruments positioned on a wide, well lit bench for easy access. Power supplies, signal generators, meters, 'scopes, soldering irons, etc. Did I mention the huge inventory of parts and hardware that are available to our members at no cost?

Many radio problems have been diagnosed here without the need for expensive shipping and repair facility charges. Not to mention the long waits involved!

So if you have a Do It Yourself bone in your body, this is a GOLD MINE that comes with being an associate member.

          Equipment Repair Policy at WVHS

                                                                             effective 9 July 2025

Our workshop is intended for use by our Directors and members for repairing, maintaining, and restoring of electronic equipment owned the individual or by the West Valley Electronics Club. (the "Shack")

We will not accept requests to make repairs from members or non-members on their equipment  FOR THEM.

We may offer expertise and knowledge to members attempting to make their own repairs to their equipment

All member projects undertaken but unfinished at the close of the shack hours must be removed from our premises.

DONATIONS of equipment are appreciated, of course. Our limited staff of technicians will be directed entirely towards the repair of the donations we receive.
