Our class is not always in the classroom!

At the Ham Shack, we emphasize classroom learning about our hobby. Mostly, it is a traditional setting of 10 students around a teaching table. Recently, however, we have added another venue: learning our hobby while ON THE AIR! Thus, our physical SHACK has become a small classroom. Size is limited to 5 persons (1 teacher and 4 students) We have benefitted from an experienced club member , K7ZS, who explains RADIOSPORT. He teaches all the competitive aspects of HF contesting: strategy, band conditions, rules, scoring, and reporting results. It is an eye opening 2 hours. Not to be missed, the timing of his classes coincide with actual contest events,usually on Saturday mornings.
