As you probably already know some improvements are being made to the facility. When you arrive you will immediately notice a new look for the entry area. The new paint color really is striking.

Dick has been working hard on the ceiling, electrical, and ducts. The new ducting and vents will improve the heating and air conditioning flow. They have already improved the environment in the radio, admin, and conference rooms. Large LED lights will make for excellent illumination, and they will be dimmable for class atmosphere and presentations. The ceiling is almost ready for inspection and tile installation.

You must visit the radio room and take a peek at the Geochron, which has been mounted on the wall. This unit came from the estate of Director Pat Regan, KB7OM (SK). Once configured the Geochron will display a lot of useful information for those Hams using the Shack's gear. The video quality is exceptional (4K).
