The West Valley Ham Shack is happy to welcome our newest member:
11 year old Wyatt Brown passed his Technician class license exam at the Shack's monthly test session recently. His nerves almost failed him, but encouragement from a buddy at the last minute made the visit to the test session a reality! Wyatt is already well schooled in this new hobby by his father Jason Brown KG7BGM. We hope to see both father and son members around the shack often!
This is great! I was hoping Jason would be able to convince his son to get involved. Success! And then Jason upgraded to Extra! WOW! That is super neat. It is good to see such an involved member. You think we can get Wyatt to participate it Field Day? Nice job Wyatt and nice job Dad.
